There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who survive history and those who make it. That's what I told Kurdy and I believe that. Doesn't matter if the ones who make history are leaders or followers or just guys like me trying to do the right thing. Standing up for a good cause and working to make the world a better place for future generations ­ that's what's important. Is Kurdy a leader? He doesn't think so but people look up to him. They trust his word and follow without question. Because they respect him. He's definitely going to make history. He's already started. But me? No. Even on those rare occasions when I find myself on the front lines of a skirmish, I'm not a leader. I support people. I encourage people. I do what I can to help. Sometimes in the open but mostly in the background. Doesn't matter if the instructions come from Kurdy or Markus or God. Or my heart. I just do what I'm told.

Every once in while I'll do something on my own initiative. But that doesn't make me a leader. It makes me independent. I saw a sign once that said, "Lead, follow, or get out of the way." Right now I'm not doing too good with the "get out of the way" part.
