Musings on Markus
Markus is a natural leader. He's lived his entire life in the Mountain, the last 15 years of it taking care of everyone inside. He probably didn't realize it but all those years he was training for a bigger role. A more important one. I don't know when he began thinking about an Alliance. I don't know if it was his idea or not. What I do know is that, in order to succeed, the Alliance needs someone to guide it. Shape it. To be its voice and it's heart. It's compassion and it's drive. Someone not afraid of responsibility but who won't abuse it, either. That's Markus. He has the passion and the intelligence. He has the experience. And thanks to him, the Alliance is more than a dream now. More than just an idea. It's a new hope for a better future. Markus is making it a reality.
