I read something once that said "A decision is made with the brain. A commitment is made with the heart." Til then I never really thought much about it. It's never been a conscious decision. I just am.

I've never been committed to a single woman. But I am committed to people. To helping them survive. Maybe even helping them find the best in themselves and in their situations. To Markus's vision of an Alliance; order and government out of 15 years of chaos. To Kurdy and Jeremiah's fight against the evil of Daniel and his forces. To the Tellers, who risk their lives to collect our history and share it with the world. Guess you could say all that means is I'm committed to seeing the world become a better place. I take that pretty seriously.
