After fifteen years of living my life as leader to Thunder Mountain, my dream occupation would be NOT to have an occupation! I’ve been at my work now 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for years and years without a break, holiday, or any downtime to myself.

Plus, I probably already have what many would consider to be a dream job, given the current state of the world. Because of my job, I have security, shelter, fresh food, clean water, access to material products, and even showers and clean clothes. I can set my own hours, and have a certain degree of power and authority available to me. I’m sure many are envious of the job I have.

But if I were to have what I would consider to be the perfect job, right now I’d love to be a farmer. I know, it sounds ridiculous, but I would truly love this as an occupation. The idea of living from the land and working with animals is very appealing to me. To support myself, to contribute back to the community by providing meat and animal byproducts, to physically connect myself with my work and see the manifest outcome of my labors, would be highly satisfying. Having dealt with people for years, dealing with animals would be a welcome change :)
