Musings on Time
Our sense of dates and days of the week became somewhat confused when the Big Death hit. After all, with everyone dying so fast,
we stopped having electricity and power, so clocks went out of existence quite rapidly. Being inside the Mountain, timepieces were
kept operational for the most part. But they have no real societal meaning. The actual date of each day no longer has much meaning
when each day you worry about staying alive. And when you no longer have a capitalist system, no paid labour, no EU and the like, you
never worry about what day it is, nor spend your week looking forward to having weekends off.
I never get days off. What a depressing thought.
