Markus is the leader of the people who lives in a place called "Thunder Mountain", a colony set inside what used to be a military compound. Markus feels the weight of the world on his shoulders, as he delicately balances his world in Thunder Mountain and the outside world, which threatens its existence. Markus is a meditative man who has learned to trust his instinct.
He has one big secret that will be revealed in Man of Iron, Woman Under Glass however, the episode where we really get to know Markus is in Firewall.
